Accounts Payable Specialist – Charlotte, NC

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating the company’s accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing all invoices received for payment in an accurate, efficient and timely manner
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve vendors billing issues
  • Opening mail, scanning invoices and mail to appropriate departments
  • Documentation of Procedures
  • Managing Accounting email inboxes
  • Weekly payment runs and paying vendors with credit cards
  • Reservation pay management
  • Impound processing and tracking
  • Expense reporting and reimbursement processing
  • Accounts Payable Agent invoice uploads and queue management
  • Accounts Payable trade invds andcard coding
  • Daily cash reconciliation
  • Trade vendor maintenance
  • Manage internal expense payments and uploads via Ramp
  • Make payments to vendors via credit card
  • Ad hoc support

Qualifications

  • Minimum Required Education: Associates Degree
  • Minimum Preferred Experience: 3+ Years
  • Desirable Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Basic/Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Basic/Intermediate Excel
  • Experience small to mid-size companies with high data volumes
